I am Anna Liamo Bartling, founder of Four Senses Wellness Collection and I feel enormous joy and satisfaction to be part of a greater good for my hometown and generation by preserving old family recipes and heritage crafts. Starting from our rose garden in the small village of Vafios where my husband and I collected for years and multiplied old rose plants with which now we produce cosmetics, room essence and other beautiful natural products. I have been on the trail of the mystery of healing since my youth and have been to many holy and healing places around the world, but none has touched me as much and made me feel at home as the island of Lesvos, which I first visited in 1990 at the invitation of Ursula Hasenburg. We are grateful for the blessing of heaven and the support of many people, also locally, who made it possible for us to realise our vision of a centre for healing and dance, the Milelja Island Garden in Molivos, in 1995. We are also grateful for the relationships we have developed with the people of this wonderful island and the guests we have been able to host from all over the world. Since 2021, the Milelia Island Garden has been run by Florian Schmidt and Marion Hof. This gives me space and time for my work as a healer. I am happy to pass on the treasures that I have been able to collect in my rich life. I communicate with spiritual beings and have been trained by Maria Magdalena since 2012, who works through me in energetic healing treatments with shamanic and quantum healing sequences, channelling, dream work and therapeutic conversations. Dimitri has studied Reflexology (foot massage) & Holistic Massage for 3 yrs from 2008-2011 at the Natural Health College in Athens. He also has degree in Zen Shiatsu Massage from the Health Plus Center in Crete Island, which he completed in 2012. He then went to Greek & Chinese Traditional Medicine College in 2012 to study the meridians of the body and also studied in Thailand at the Chiang Mai Traditional Thai Massage School. To enhance the energy of his massage treatment he has also undertaken Reiki Master Level III (Usul Methode), Angelic Reiki Level I, Practice Vipassana Meditation & Pranayama, Dimitris has recently completed a 200hr yoga intensive training in Rishikesh, India. Studied sound therapy with Peter Hess. He draws from a vast bank of experience and knowledge to give you a deep, intuitive restorative treatment. We are a small family business that decided to cultivate the land of our ancestors. We have been cultivating our olive grove organically since 2005, producing with love, the best olive oil and olives from the Adramitini variety. We are located in Stipsi, a small village in the northern part of Lesvos. The semi-mountainous terrain and the local climatic conditions as well as the aridity of the cultivation give us this aroma and taste in our products. The strict selection of olive fruit combined with the traditional way of harvesting gives us the excellent olive oil at the best prices. All products are without chemical preservatives and only with natural ones such as salt, oil, lemon and oregano. We decided to cultivate our olive grove organically despite the difficulties, making a healthier product of undoubtedly better quality. At first, we started selling olive oil and olives to acquaintances and friends in our village. In 1967, while studying social work, I learnt to dance and sing one of Mikis Theodorakis' most famous songs, "Arnisi". That was the beginning of my intimate connection to Greek music and dance. I organised many seminars with Greek dance teachers, including Vassilis Giakoumis from Lesvos. He invited me to his island again and again. In May 1994, on my 50th birthday, the first group event took place in Milelja. I met Gisa Bartling and Detlef Siebert, the builders of the Milelja Guesthouse, by chance. Together with Irini Asbach, I founded and built the Milelja Island Garden, which we inaugurated in 1995 with many friends, supporters and guests. For over 25 years, we ran this meeting place for people from all over the world with joy and enthusiasm. I have always been interested in activating and strengthening self-healing powers. My many years of further training in counselling therapy, body-oriented Gestalt psychotherapy, alternative healing treatments and dance give me the opportunity to accompany people on their path to an affirming, joyful life. I entered "retirement age" in 2021 and since then Florian and Marion have been running the Inselgarten with love and creativity. However, as brain research proves that we "get better and better with age", I continue to offer my therapeutic support options.
