The Molyvos International Music Festival (MIMF), founded in 2015, is a unique project for the north Aegean region that brings together renowned young soloists from all over the world creating various ensemble formations especially for each year’s festival. Taking place on Lesbos has the added importance of shaping the cultural dialogue on an island that has been in the centre of the recent challenges of our time. The Festival has become one of the most important development vehicles of the Greek island of Lesbos, bringing innovation for the region and creating inclusion in different fields, by uniting people through the universal language of music. Every August, 20-25 of the greatest international young talents are joining some of the biggest names in classical music for a ten-day celebration of world- class classical music, making the Festival one of Greece’s prestigious classical music events. Each year explores a different theme that is tied to the current events taking place on the island and that the visitors can identify with. Beside the main evening concerts, MIMF is enriched by a) its opening acts: events that take place before the main festival days and are free of charge aiming to involve the community of the whole island. They offer the opportunity to visitors to discover the island of Lesbos and its secrets, combining the musical experience with getting to know the history of the place. b) the unique “Molyvos Musical Moments”: short, extraordinary musical happenings - free of charge - that take place during the day in various places inside the village, on the beach, in the disco to ensure the entire village is caught up in the Festival’s spell of classical music. c) The Festival’s activities extend far beyond the main event in August. In order to reach the most important part of the population, the children, extensive educational programs are being conducted throughout the entire year. Filling a gap and having high quality standards, MIMF achieved a strong involvement of the local community, boosting the economy and offering exceptional educational programs.

The island helped me create beyond the boundaries of jewelry design so I created symbols and spiritual guides. that helped me change to find more balance. joy, energy, strength, success, contentment, belief in myself, forgiveness and love for myself and others. Let's find together what suits you, let's charge your energy points. We are waiting for you to get to know a second home of your own. Theofilos
